The India-Pakistan series is adored in the world of cricket. But the reality of this series depends entirely on the political relations between the two countries. When these two ever-hostile neighbors will face each other again in a bilateral series is a matter of great study. India and Pakistan have never met in white since the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Although Pakistan played ODI series in India in 2012, India never visited Pakistan again after 2005-06.

India and Pakistan have been talking about hosting a bilateral cricket series for a long time. But India is by no means interested in playing a bilateral cricket series with Pakistan. For so long, Pakistan has been talking about playing a series to rekindle bilateral cricket relations, but this time the negative attitude came from the highest levels of Pakistan. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that at the moment there is nothing to say about the environment for hosting the India-Pakistan series.
In 1992, Pakistan won the World Cup under the leadership of Imran Khan. He is now the Prime Minister of the country after 28 years of winning the World Cup in politics. He is also the main sponsor of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In an interview with Sky Sports, Imran said, "I think the kind of government that is in power in India, the environment for holding bilateral cricket with India is terrible."
Imran himself has played in two bilateral series on Indian soil. He was of the opinion that the atmosphere of those two series held in 1979 and 1986 was good. The governments of the two countries were also keen on resolving various issues among themselves. The playing environment on Indian soil was good in 1969 and 1966.
However, Imran also faced some problems as the captain of Pakistan in 1968. In 1969, the spectators showed a somewhat hostile attitude towards the Pakistan team. Because of that, there were some problems between the two countries at that time.
Imran still thinks this is the most interesting bilateral series in the world of cricket (India-Pakistan), 'The Ashes must be important. But nothing will come of it compared to the India-Pakistan series. This series has to be played with nerve pressure. The level of enjoyment of this series is different.
